Have you missed me??

I know I haven't posted anything forever! and I apologize. With summer finally here I've been enjoying the nice weather and taking advantage of it. My favorite thing to do this summer is play tennis. Don't worry I'm not any good at it but it's my excuse to wear the cute little tennis skirt. I've also been cruising around on my bicycle and hanging out at my friends pool that's just up the street. And last but not least I plan on doing a lot more mountain biking this year then I did last year. Were actually going mountain biking this weekend with a couple of friends of ours and one has never gone before so it should be entertaining. I know I have a rough life... So I think everyone should get outside and try something new! Hooray for SUMMER!!

This is just how it is

I just wanted to give everyone a little insight on my life and introduce my "Family" ( which mostly consist of dogs.)
This first little guy on top is Winston aka: Winney or Mr. Winikins he is the "baby" he's about 6months and has so much personality that it's hard to get mad at him but don't get me wrong he is very naughty!!

This is Paolo aka: Bear, LoLo, Mr. Bear he is 2 he will be three in Sept. He is a really shy and quiet dog and is pretty needy. He's not much of a people or dog person but he gives a lot of love!

And I can't forget Simon aka: Mr. Simon he was our first dog he's 3 almost 4 and he is the friendliest dog you will ever meet. He's not like any other Chiuaua he loves people and other dogs! and he's not even one of those yappy dogs.

And this is my multi talented husband Ali (yes named after Muhammad Ali) he didn't get that name for nothing he really is "The Greatest" so the top picture is what he does in the winter...well he actually works for the Park City Snowboard team as the freestyle coach but back in the day he used to do it professionally (How hot is that!) and in the summer he does what you see below rides his bike doesn't matter what kind of bike it is he does it all!! right now he has his pro licence in mountain biking and does local races, but also does road biking and cycle cross as well. He's pretty much obsessed with bikes I guess the same way as I am obsessed with shopping so I can relate...well sorta...other then his great abilities to climb mountains and jump off cliffs he's the most wonderful husband!!

Birthday's Are Fun!

So Last night it was our friend Courtney's 29Th Birthday (She's the one with the blond straight hair just in case you were wondering.) we went to a wonderful restaurant called Pine to celebrate! for those of you that think your getting old don't worry your not.....this whole group of gals is 28 or over(I think I'm the youngest one out of the bunch.) and only two of us out of the 7 are married. So I hope I have given some people some light at the end of the tunnel. That life only gets better with age. And that Birthday's are FUN!

From the Begining

Alright I had a request from Cassidy to post some pictures of my BIG day so here they are. The first couple of sets are our engagement and my bridal pictures that Davina Fear did for me. Oh and by the way she's amazing! I highly recommend her!! Oh Brianna she's doing the "get to know you shoots" for only $150 right now I paid $300 per session so that is a bargain. I almost want to get more pictures done by her because it's so cheap. But if you are wanting more here is the website for her blog that you can see our pictures on. All you have to do is go to the September 2006 archive and scroll down hope you enjoy them. http://illltakeapictureofthat.blogspot.com/

The Wedding....Ok so I don't have a lot of pictures downloaded on my computer BUT I do have a website that has the whole album for all to see. So if your into it here it is.

Ok...Ok...

I know I've been out of the "Blog" scene for a few days but don't worry I'm back! I wanted to let everyone know about the fabulous BBQ I had over the weekend....sorry I have no pictures to prove it but I promise it really did exists. If anyone wants to impress people at their next BBQ you have to try some of these tasty items that I had at mine.

  • Gourmet Hamburgers (These are not your average burger I promise)

The first one consisted of melted provolone cheese, caramelized onions, and mushrooms. Can I say that this one is DELISH!!!

The Second one I call my "Pesto" burger . I put pesto on both sides of the buns ( BTW you can buy pesto at any grocery store.) fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, and of course fresh basil on top.....mmmmm...mmmmm TASTY!!!!!

  • Asparagus wrapped in Prosciutto

This is so easy and so tasty!!! all you do is pick out any kind of asparagus of your choice ( I per fer the thinner ones.) then you sprinkle some salt and pepper and drizzle some extra virgin olive oil on them. And then you just wrap the prosciutto around them (when I use the thinner asparagus I bundle them up in three's it make for a really cute presentation.) And grill them up!! easy as that!

  • Last but now least Dessert I just call them Fruit cups

Pick out any kind of berries you enjoy ( I enjoy Strawberries, Blueberries, and Raspberries.) Put them in a bowl and squeeze 2-3 lemons on top and sprinkle sugar ( as much as you desire) mix it all together and place them in individual cups ( I used wine glasses) place a dollop of whip cream on top and crumble cookies on them for a perfect crunch. (Sorry I can't remember what cookies I used but vanilla wafers sound tasty.) It's so easy I promise!

Now if anyone has any questions please feel free to ask!!! and if your wondering if this came out of a cook book your wrong......I really do have an imagination when it comes to food! I hope you enjoy it as much as all of my friends did.
