I know I know I know.....
First and formost if you haven't bought the new Alicia Keys CD you must get it!! it's amazing! And coming from a person that is very picky on buying music especially the entire album I wouldn't lie. So what are you waiting for? go get it!!
So I know I have a bit of a shopping addiction....well I don't really call it that I just think I enjoy fashion and I have an appreciation for fabrics, colors, the cut of clothing, and they way it's made. There shouldn't be anything wrong with that right? but lately I guess I've just been annoyed by the fact that that is the label I'm associated with....like I'm not capable of doing anything else and I'm just that wife that shops. So what if I don't race bikes and I'm not an avid snowboarder at least I look presentable everyday.
To top it off I'm going to San Francisco tomorrow for a day to go SHOPPING! Surprise Surprise...I'm very excited about it! hopefully I can get most of my Christmas shopping done....at least for myself...he he..
Does anyone have any good ideas for Christmas Gifts?? I'm always curios on what people give as presents.
December is going to be a very crazy month for me and I'm sure for everyone else so don't be sad if my next post doesn't come out for a while.

How fun was this...
Last Night was my friend Cody's 24Th Birthday so a few of us went to the Tavernacle for some cocktails and Karaoke.....And by the way when 90% of the bar is gay you know you'll be having a good time! they are all so fun and entertaining I love it!! so here are a few pictures I captured that night the first one is (L to R) Cody and his boyfriend Brian they are so cute and way fun to hangout with! I will definitely be hanging out with them by the pool this summer and drinking Pina Coladas! the next one is Cody, Lisa, Trish and I. And the last one is the Birthday boy and myself. It was definitely a fun night!

This is just how it is
This first little guy on top is Winston aka: Winney or Mr. Winikins he is the "baby" he's about 6months and has so much personality that it's hard to get mad at him but don't get me wrong he is very naughty!!
And this is my multi talented husband Ali (yes named after Muhammad Ali) he didn't get that name for nothing he really is "The Greatest" so the top picture is what he does in the winter...well he actually works for the Park City Snowboard team as the freestyle coach but back in the day he used to do it professionally (How hot is that!) and in the summer he does what you see below rides his bike doesn't matter what kind of bike it is he does it all!! right now he has his pro licence in mountain biking and does local races, but also does road biking and cycle cross as well. He's pretty much obsessed with bikes I guess the same way as I am obsessed with shopping so I can relate...well sorta...other then his great abilities to climb mountains and jump off cliffs he's the most wonderful husband!!

Birthday's Are Fun!
So Last night it was our friend Courtney's 29Th Birthday (She's the one with the blond straight hair just in case you were wondering.) we went to a wonderful restaurant called Pine to celebrate! for those of you that think your getting old don't worry your not.....this whole group of gals is 28 or over(I think I'm the youngest one out of the bunch.) and only two of us out of the 7 are married. So I hope I have given some people some light at the end of the tunnel. That life only gets better with age. And that Birthday's are FUN!

From the Begining
Ok...Ok...
- Gourmet Hamburgers (These are not your average burger I promise)
The first one consisted of melted provolone cheese, caramelized onions, and mushrooms. Can I say that this one is DELISH!!!
The Second one I call my "Pesto" burger . I put pesto on both sides of the buns ( BTW you can buy pesto at any grocery store.) fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, and of course fresh basil on top.....mmmmm...mmmmm TASTY!!!!!
- Asparagus wrapped in Prosciutto
This is so easy and so tasty!!! all you do is pick out any kind of asparagus of your choice ( I per fer the thinner ones.) then you sprinkle some salt and pepper and drizzle some extra virgin olive oil on them. And then you just wrap the prosciutto around them (when I use the thinner asparagus I bundle them up in three's it make for a really cute presentation.) And grill them up!! easy as that!
- Last but now least Dessert I just call them Fruit cups
Pick out any kind of berries you enjoy ( I enjoy Strawberries, Blueberries, and Raspberries.) Put them in a bowl and squeeze 2-3 lemons on top and sprinkle sugar ( as much as you desire) mix it all together and place them in individual cups ( I used wine glasses) place a dollop of whip cream on top and crumble cookies on them for a perfect crunch. (Sorry I can't remember what cookies I used but vanilla wafers sound tasty.) It's so easy I promise!
Now if anyone has any questions please feel free to ask!!! and if your wondering if this came out of a cook book your wrong......I really do have an imagination when it comes to food! I hope you enjoy it as much as all of my friends did.

What I have Learned
- The older you get the smarter you become.
- You tend to look at life differently.
- You realize that everyone has their own problems and that no body's perfect.
- The littlest things in life matter the most.
- You don't need to be a certain age to accomplish something....everything takes time and life doesn't always come with a time line.
- People DO notice when you say "Please" and "Thank You".
Okay so I can only think of 6 things off the top of my head that I think I have learned over the years that made me the person who I am right now. What have you learned in life that makes YOU the person you are today?
